Quality Circles in Hospital: An Exploratory Study

Introduction: Quality circle (QC) consists of people working in a common work area, coming togethervoluntarily to identify, analyze and solve various quality related problems within their area.Methodology: The exploratory study was done hospital India that part large public sectororganisation ran the program QC across its institutions also non-core areas like hospitals.Primary data collected from staff circles.Results: Most members reported an improvement terms Job satisfaction andaccomplishment measured on 6 parameters. perception Non-members about thegeneral organizational climate lower side comparison ofthe QCs. membersof seemed fare better than Non- members.Discussion Conclusion: If top middle management develop faith conviction efficacyof program, then rolling this out is not issue at all. were appreciative thefact kind great learning experience.
